Dr Gayatri Veeramani Jayaraman is an American Board Certified Nephrologist and Attending Physician at the Mass General Brigham Hospital System. She completed her fellowship training in Nephrology at Harvard Medical School in the Joint Fellowship program of the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Post fellowship, she practiced as a Nephrologist in Upstate New York and served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr Gayatri completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Binghamton Clinical Campus of Upstate Medical University.
In addition to being a medical doctor, Dr Gayatri holds a degree in Pharmacy from Madras Medical College (1998-2002) and a Masters in Health Administration and Management from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. With over 10 years of experience practicing medicine in many hospitals, ICUs and clinics in the USA, Dr Gayatri has a very patient-centered approach. She also has extensive industry academic and research experience authoring multiple papers in reputed international journals. She has completed the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program from Harvard Medical School and served as a co-investigator in multiple clinical trials. She has also completed the Value Based Healthcare and other courses from Harvard Business School.
In her current role as Director of Marketing and International Business at Fourrts Pharmaceuticals, she oversees strategic marketing initiatives, new product launch and marketing of pharmaceutical formulations in Nephrology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Diabetology, Respiratory and other therapeutic areas. She also helps with brand marketing and generic formulation business in over 40 countries including the UK, Canada, Africa and Asia. She is deeply committed to giving back to society and is involved in many initiatives. She has special interest in community health promotion, patient education and chronic disease prevention and management programs.
