Prof. Mohan Kameswaran is the Managing Director and Chief Surgeon of Madras ENT Research Foundation.
He is a Recepient of The Padmashri and Dr. B. C. Roy awards.
He is a Hon. Distinguished Professor of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University.
He is a pioneer in Cochlear Implant and Pediatric Auditory Brain Stem implants and has one of the largest series in the world. He has mentored over 40 cochlear implant centers in India and several centers abroad. He has over 200 publications and has authored 3 books. He has been a visiting Professor at the Royal Society of Medicine London and has received several International recognitions by International organisations such as the American Academy, British Academy and the Governments of Srilanka and Bangladesh. He is a humanitarian doctor who conducts free medical camps throughout the country and has mentored numerous surgeons from all over the world.
